SG100 Fixed Oxygen Gas Detector

A cost-effective, IECEx/ATEX certified fixed gas detector for continuous monitoring of oxygen (O₂) from 0–30%VOL. Features IP66/IP68 water/dust resistance, intelligent plug-and-play sensor module, 4-20mA, RS485 Modbus, and optional HART output. Supports magnetic wand and remote control for easy configuration. Optional LoRa/4G wireless and 3 relays for external device control (horns, fans, alarm lights).

Product Overview

The SG100 series is a cost-effective fixed gas detector designed for continuous 24/7 monitoring of toxic gases, oxygen, flammable gases, and VOC. Taking oxygen (O₂) as an example, it uses an electrochemical sensor to measure concentrations from 0–30%VOL with high accuracy and stability.

The detector is IECEx and ATEX certified with explosion-proof grade Ex db IIC T6 Gb and Ex db ia IIC T6 Gb, making it suitable for hazardous areas. It features IP66/IP68 water and dust resistance, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments.

The SG100 offers multiple output options: 3-wire 4-20mA analog, RS485 Modbus, and optional HART communication, making it compatible with most control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA). Optional 3 relays (low/high/fault alarm) can directly control external devices such as horns, strobe lights, and exhaust fans. Optional wireless modules (LoRa, 4G) enable remote data access via PC, laptop, or mobile phone.

A key feature is the intelligent plug-and-play sensor module – calibration can be performed using Safegas PC software, and the module can be replaced easily without disassembling the whole unit. The detector comes with a standard mounting bracket and splash guard, weighs only 1.0 kg, and is easy to install by one person.
